Vaginal Infections
Like any other
infection vaginal infections arise when the body's immunity is low and
when the pH (Acid-alkali) balance is off in the vaginal area. This could
be because of poor hygiene also.
We suggest to follow these general recommendations for one
month and if you still have problems write to us and we will be able to
suggest individualized therapy for you. These work for sinus
problem also.
Vaginal douching: Prepare good quality yogurt (curd) at
home. Allow is to sour well. Apply this yogurt slightly inside the
bacteria. These bacteria are good and so will stop the growth of
unwanted bacteria causing infections.
Vaginal Tampoons (Candida infections):
Wash 8 to 10 neem leaves crush them to extract the
juice and make it into a vaginal tampon using fine clean cotton
covered with a
sterile piece of gauze. Keep at night inside the
vagina before going to bed and then remove in the morning. Do this for two
to three weeks till it is gone.
Make sure at least three inches of cloth lies outside to
freely remove the tampon.
You can use good quality neem oil also instead of leaf
juice for tampooning. Try always a small quantity of oil or leaf extract and
see if it suits you and then proceed.
Vaginal Tampoons (Trichomonas) If it is
trichomonas infection, then garlic is better than neem. Take a small
clove of garlic (separated from a cluster of garlic cloves) without removing
its flaky skin. Removing skin may CAUSE irritation in the vagina because the
skin is so soft there. Also hard tipped end of the clove needs to be
removed because it may cause injury to vagina. Insert garlic clove like a
tampon into the vagina, change garlic three times a day for the first three
days, then twice a day for two weeks.
Another way is to take one or two separated garlic cloves
and make a tampon using a fine clean gauze. Insert this tampon into the
vagina at night after relieving yourself before going to bed and remove in
the morning. Continue this treatment for 10-15 days and discontinue it
during menstruation. Also it is good that both the partners consume orally
3-4 cloves twice a day after food.
Water Therapy :
We generally recommend doing
Water Therapy
to detoxify the body. Instead of drinking room
temperature water you can drink luke warm water (with general flavors
like ginger, cumin seeds, mint leaves, cardamom, coriander seeds,
Sarsparilla
root powder, hibiscus flowers etc) for better results.
Earth Therapy:
Neem oil :
Once a week before going to bed
drink one teaspoonful of neem oil. This will kills the parasites and also
improve the immunity and decrease infections
Herbal preparation: Asparagus racemosus
(Satavari)
is good for non-specific vaginal infections. Grind 5 grams of roots , 10 grams of cumin seeds and 15
grams of brown sugar. Add a cup of fresh milk to form a paste. Take a cup
of this paste every morning on an empty stomach (just before breakfast) for a month.
Soup: Horse gram (brown lentils): Sprout
and cook this lentils with little turmeric salt, tamarind and chillie
or black pepper to taste. Take two tablespoons of cooked gram twice a
day at meal times for few weeks.
Other changes: We recommend
using less cheese and milk products because they increase mucus in the
body. Also use
fiber rich whole grains like
brown rice (remember to soak in water and cook), whole rye flakes (33%
fiber compared to 20% fiber in oats), whole wheat flakes (28%), barley
flakes (26%).
Include more vegetables and fruits in your
diet. Reduce or avoid any kind of meat foods. It is good to remove mucus in the body and cleanse the liver. Do
Castor oil and Gallnut (cleansing)
alternatively every two months.
One Juice a day for seven days a week: (Use
organically grown foods for best results).
Drink these fresh juices, one a day and repeat the seven every week. It
is
easy. Just cut and put in blender with little water and dates if needed
,
blend and drink.

Aloe Vera
juice mixed with orange or carrot juice.
2. Pineapple juice (Swallow/eat one teaspoon of turmeric powder
immediately before or after drinking the juice.
3. Grapefruit juice or orange juice
4.
Coriander
leaves juice as such or mixed with carrot juice.
5. Tomato juice (Swallow/eat one teaspoon of turmeric powder immediately
before or after drinking the juice.
6. Mango seed juice (Take the inside of a fresh or dried mango seed and
blend with water). If you dont get mango seed , then use dried or
fresh
Amla and make a juice with it.
7. Pineapple juice (Swallow/eat one teaspoon of turmeric powder
immediately before or after drinking the juice.
No bottled or canned. it should be made fresh and not filter it. Clear
juices are free from fiber and so drink all juices with the pulp.
Triphala Powder - Strengthen Liver:
Everyday night take
